Welcome!
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Centre for Demographic Studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain. I received my PhD in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I was trained in the Center for Demography and Ecology.
I am a family sociologist using quantitative methods to understand how population dynamics (re)produce or undermine gender inequality. My current research centers on unpaid work, such as housework and caregiving, and I approach these questions from gender, life course, and comparative perspectives.
